Fox Broadcasting Company, or simply Fox, is one of the most famous US television networks owned by the American media conglomerate Fox Corporation. The headquarters of the network is located at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan.
The Fox network was founded on October 9, 1986 by the American business magnate Rupert Murdoch. It all started with the fact that Rupert acquired the 20th Century Fox film studio. After that he had the idea to found a television network that could compete with already existing broadcasting giants such as CBS, NBC and ABC.
However, many specialists were skeptical about this idea, because they understood very well that the American television broadcasting market was overloaded, so it was almost impossible to take high positions.
